My biggest fear is something I cannot escape. Every moment of every day, every hour of every night, it is there. It is haunting me. It is unavoidable. I cannot conquer my biggest fear. It has more control over me than anything else in life. No matter how hard I fight back it will never back down. It will always be there. It will always haunt me.
What is my greatest fear? Time. Time is the most precious thing in the world. No plentitude of success or money can ever buy or buy back time. Every single second of our lives our life is ticking away. My biggest fear in life is that I will not have used my time. We all have an allotted time to achieve our dreams. Some may live longer than others, but we are all young for the exact same length of time.
It is what we do within that narrow time frame in which we define who we are and how we will be remembered. Every single reader here has the opportunity to turn a dream into a reality. Never put your time to waste. It’s the only one we’ve got. The minute you’ve spent reading this post is a minute in history. You have lost that minute of your life. You can never get it back, no matter how badly you want to. Make the remaining ones count.

It doesn’t interest me what you do for a living. I want to know what you ache for, and if you dare to dream of meeting your heart’s longing.
It doesn’t interest me how old you are. I want to know if you will risk looking like a fool for love, for your dream, for the adventure of being alive.
It doesn’t interest me what planets are squaring your moon. I want to know if you have touched the center of your own sorrow, if you have been opened by life’s betrayals or have become shriveled and closed from fear of further pain! I want to know if you can sit with pain, mine or your own, without moving to hide it or fade it, or fix it.
I want to know if you can be with joy, mine or your own, if you can dance with wildness and let the ecstasy fill you to the tips of your fingers and toes without cautioning us to be careful, to be realistic, to remember the limitations of being human.
It doesn’t interest me if the story you are telling me is true. I want to know if you can disappoint another to be true to yourself; if you can bear the accusation of betrayal and not betray your own soul; if you can be faithless and therefore trustworthy.
I want to know if you can see beauty even when it’s not pretty, every day,and if you can source your own life from its presence.
I want to know if you can live with failure, yours and mine, and still stand on the edge of the lake and shout to the silver of the full moon, “Yes!”
It doesn’t interest me to know where you live or how much money you have. I want to know if you can get up, after the night of grief and despair, weary and bruised to the bone, and do what needs to be done to feed the children.
It doesn’t interest me who you know or how you came to be here. I want to know if you will stand in the center of the fire with me and not shrink back.
It doesn’t interest me where or what or with whom you have studied. I want to know what sustains you, from the inside, when all else falls away.
I want to know if you can be alone with yourself and if you truly like the company you keep in the empty moments.

"Maybe you can afford to wait. Maybe for you there’s a tomorrow. Maybe for you there’s one thousand tomorrows, or three thousand, or ten, so much time you can bathe in it, roll around it, let it slide like coins through you fingers. So much time you can waste it. But for some of us there’s only today. And the truth is, you never really know."

I could swear in another time you were made for me
Maybe an alternate reality where it’s just you and me
I’m talking where you and I make each other complete
You got your life & I got mine
It’s just the timing ain’t right and so the story goes of a love that could’ve last
but we never could try
Maybe we’ll find a place & time where everything’s as it should be
Where all of our hopes & dreams don’t exist because it’s reality
but for now I’ll leave it in my mind
